The Britwell Youth and Community Project (BYP)
The Britwell Youth and Community Project is a youth club for children and young people aged 8 plus on Wentworth Avenue, Britwell that has been running for over 60 years. Funded by charity and lottery support the club aims to provide children and young adults with a place to experience activities and spend time in a safe and structured environment. From sports and crafting activities, computing and gaming to bicycle maintenance and use of the recording studio there are activities to keep all entertained. They even run a subsidised activity holiday each year at one of the many PGL camps around the country.
High standards of behaviour are expected and enforced whilst making sure that all children feel valued and welcome. The club is run at no cost to the children or young people that attend, including the sessions held in school holidays.
The club is a valuable asset to our local community and you may feel you wish to go along and see for yourself what is on offer and how your children might benefit from joining.
The club is run weekly on a Tuesday and Thursday evening (6.00pm - 8.45pm) and Friday (7.00pm - 9.30pm), as well as sessions during the day when schools are on holidays. (Monday - Friday 11.00am - 3.00pm)
If you would like to know more then both Mr Farmer and Miss Colclough would be only to willing to help.
