English work for Wednesday

Today we are going to plan our poem using the ideas we came up with yesterday.

Please look carefully at my example which is on your worksheet.

Follow these steps to create your poem:

1. Write the numbers from 1-5 in words in the first column.

2. Choose 5 animals and write them in the second column (use animals from yesterday’s work or choose your own but make sure you can think of a word that will rhyme with it.)

3. Write down a word that rhymes with the animal in the fourth column.

4. Fill in the middle part of the sentence so it makes sense.
