If there is a time you feel you need to talk or share how you feel or have been worrying about something to do with you, a friend or a member of your family then there are lots of ways you can ask for support from us all here at school.
This applies to all your adults at home too. If there is something you need some help or advice with concerning your child or just life then please don’t hesitate to make contact.
Sometimes it can seem the scariest of things to ask for help but it is always the right thing to do.
There are times when we all need a little help. Maybe we just need a chance to talk or just to be able to share with someone how we feel. Or maybe we want somebody to help us solve an issue that has been worrying us or that we have been thinking about for a while. This is where our Pastoral Support Team can be there to support or help you or a member of your family.
At St Mary’s Farnham Royal we want everybody who is part of our school community to feel they are doing and being the best they can be, giving their all and striving for personal success in all things. This is the same for not only you as pupils but also for the adults that work in school and for your adults at home. But to be able to do and be the best that you can, you need to feel the best that you can and there are times when we all need some help and support to feel the best that we can. This is where the Pastoral Support Team aim to help.
So who are the Pastoral Support Team?
Well actually every adult working at school helps to make up part of the Pastoral Support Team at SMFR. We all work together to ensure you all feel safe, cared for, have someone to talk to and can share worries or issues you have. These could be about you or about someone you care about.

Digital Well-Being
Our overall well-being is determined by the physical and emotional experiences we have on a daily basis. As technology continues to be such a huge part of our lives, from the way we represent who we are to the interactions we have with others, it too has an impact on our well-being. This is often referred to as your 'digital well-being' or 'online wellness.'
It is essentially about having an awareness of how being online can make us feel and looking after ourselves and others when online. This can include recognising the impact being online can have on our emotions, mental well-being and even on our physical health and knowing what to do if something goes wrong.
