Healthy Eating Week will take place from the 14th-18th June 2021 leading all UK schools on its 'Find your healthier you journey!'
We want everyone to reflect on their lifestyles and look to make improvements to enhance their health and well-being. The focus is on healthy eating and drinking as well as physical activity.

In April 2013, the Government announced new funding for physical education (PE) and sport.
It is up to the schools to determine how best to use this funding to improve the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision, including increasing participation in PE and sport so that all pupils develop healthy lifestyles and reach the performance levels they are capable of.
Our goal at SMFR is to provide children with the best possible physical education that we can offer, while promoting healthy, active lifestyles. To achieve this we use our funding to provide the most useful equipment, organise external organisations to run weekly after school clubs, while promoting their own weekend clubs in the local area that your children may wish to attend, sporting festivals and competitions with other schools, and the opportunity to try out sports that the children may not have experienced before.
