ReadingEggspress Activity - login to Reading Eggspress and your activity will be ready for you to start. This needs to be completed between the 1st and the 8th February.

This week in science we are learning about the lungs and how they work. Work your way through the Power Point carrying out any activities you need to. Your main task involves your whole family carrying out an experiment to test lung capacity. You will need a balloon each. If you do not have balloons at home you can still predict what will happen and write what factors would change and which you would keep the same to make the test a fair one.

Over the next few weeks, try to complete the Level 6 unit.
You have to click on Block coding and Learn to see all the levels.
There are video guides to help you so if at any point you get stuck or forget, have another look at the refresher section.
If you complete all this then why not try applying your skills to the Hour of Code and earn yourself some certificates for coding skills. All you have to do is go on to the website and click on 'Try It'. You will have lot's of fun whilst learning!

Remember - we're not born being assertive! Some people might be naturally more assertive than others but it's a skill that we can all develop and improve. Assertiveness helps us to get our needs met without ignoring the needs of other people.
We all know how important it is to keep moving and exercise regularly. We know how hard that is at the moment but we don't want you to stop moving for too long so here is a list of websites you can use to get your heart pumping, your body moving and your brain working. You don't have to do them all every day; you only have to choose one.

In Art this week you will be creating a natural piece of Art by using the Hapa-Zome Japaneese style of printing. This involves using a hammer or heavy object that you may have at home, such as a rolling pin, to extract dye from leaves and petals.
THIS LESSON MUST BE DONE UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION.
