Computing This Term!

We hope you are all enjoying your 'Coding' unit on the Espresso / Discovery website.  Don't forget to click on the link below and login (student4890 royal4)

Over the next few weeks, try to complete the Level 6 unit.

You have to click on Block coding and Learn to see all the levels.

There are video guides to help you so if at any point you get stuck or forget, have another look at the refresher section.

If you complete all this then why not try applying your skills to the Hour of Code and earn yourself some certificates for coding skills.  All you have to do is go on to the website and click on 'Try It'.  You will have lot's of fun whilst learning!

Often, we think negatively about a situation or an event that has happened or is about to happen. When we think negatively, we are likely to carry on thinking negatively, which helps to make the thought more powerful. When this happens, it is really difficult to find positive thoughts. This can lead to a one-sided view of a situation or event which is often not a true judgement.

Try this activity.  You will be surprised how we can always turn a negative in to a positive.

This week in Art you will be making flowers and plants using paper. Follow the PowerPoint and have a look at the videos to find different methods. Create your own arrangement and send us a photo.

In French we are learning about 'Our Day'

Watch the clip below to help you start to understand how to talk about your day in French.  Listen to what she says and how she pronounces her sentences and give them a go!

We hope you enjoy it!

lingoni FRENCH (14) - Talking about Your Daily Life - A1

We all know how important it is to keep moving and exercise regularly.  We know how hard that is at the moment but we don't want you to stop moving for too long so here is a list of websites you can use to get your heart pumping, your body moving and your brain working.  You don't have to do them all every day; you only have to choose one.

Don't forget  Joe Wicks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Please send us some pictures of how you are keeping active at home - you could be riding your bike, hula hooping, jumping on the trampoline or simply doing something from one of the web links below.  Whatever it is you are doing, we would love to see it.
