Year 1 - 6

Children start on Thursday 4th September 2025

What should children bring?

• Lunch (unless ordered)
• A piece of fruit for a morning snack, if desired (apple, raisins, banana, strawberries, cucumber etc..)
• Water bottle, named (water only during lessons)
• Coat
• Bag
• Medication, ie Inhalers etc.. These will remain in school under end of term.
• Pencil cases (Yr 3-6), remain in school
• NO PE Kits. Children will be informed of PE days and will wear PE kits to school on these days unless otherwise advised. It works well.
• No other items needed

School Lunches

Hot lunches are available for children.

• All children eat lunch in the hall.
• Menus are available on the school website
• Ordering is at the start of the day at registration, payments to be made via the Arbor Parent Portal App.

Children can order lunches by telling their teacher whether they are having a school lunch or packed lunch during the morning register each day. The school records this and charges parents accordingly.

Tree Tops

Tree Tops (before and after school club) 

• If your child has not previously attended, but you would like a place, please email office@smfr.co.uk for an application pack. Spaces are limited and children must register and attend regular sessions.
