Buckinghamshire Jubilee Baking Competition

To celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Buckinghamshire organised a baking competition open to all schools across the county.  

SMFR ran the competition in school to find the very best cake baked to represent the Jubilee. It was incredible to see the number of amazing and delicious-looking cakes that were sent into school by families across our school community.  Thank you so much to all those that entered!

After much deliberation and obviously taste testing (Yum!) the School Council members chose Teddie's cake as the very best and he and his cake were sent forward to the County finals!

It was a very hard fought competition and it was just incredible for Teddie and his cake to come 5th in the entire county!  Not only that, he was awarded his prize by a baker to the Queen and by ITV's very own Lorraine Kelly.

We are all so very proud of him for what he and his family have achieved and for representing SMFR so brilliantly.  Well done Teddie!
