The Platinum Jubilee at SMFR

What a celebration this was across the country! And we played our part too by having a Jubilee Picnic, wearing regal clothing and investigating the life of our Queen.  We linked the celebrations to our 200th Anniversary too, burying a time capsule and recording work linked to our lives now and what they might be like in the future.   

School also ran the baking competition, a poetry and art competition with great success.  The winning poems and art from each year group have been placed in the time capsule for future generations to enjoy too.
