Pastoral Support for Families

There are times when we all need a little help.  Maybe we just need a chance to talk or just to be able to share with someone how we feel.  Or maybe we want somebody to help us solve an issue that has been worrying us or that we have been thinking about for a while.  There may be something that is really affecting your family life or that is making things difficult for not only the children but parents too.

The Pastoral Support Team at SMFR tries to do all it can to support children and families in any way possible.  Working closely with families, listening to how they need help and then working alongside specialist support agencies or investigating what help and support is available allows all members of our school 'Family' to feel we can help.  There is always something that can be done, even if it is just sharing a concern or a worry over a cup of tea.  (Mr Farmer does make a good brew!)

Mr Farmer leads the Pastoral Support Team but all adults working in school help to make up the team at SMFR.  We work together to ensure all members of our family feel safe, cared for, have someone to talk to or turn to.

If you can't find anything to help then please do come and talk to Mr Farmer.  We will see what can be done to help.
